I am terrified to drive home with this beautiful cake.

Cakes are delicate creatures.  However, we carefully pack your cake with your drive home in mind.  You should arrive prepared with a clean, level place to set the cake.  Cakes do not like to ride home on seats (they are not level) or on laps (they are not stable).   The floor or rear of the vehicle is best.  Do not drive fast.  Do not bring your dog.  Tell your kids to sit still and be quiet because you are trying to concentrate, for the love of all that is holy.  The temperature in your car should be cool for the drive home.  Plan on going straight home (or to your venue) from the bakery to deliver your cake.  Cakes are made of butter, eggs and many soft lovely things.  They tend to shift and lean if not handled carefully.  Take your time.  Once your purchase leaves the bakery, it is your property.

Sugarica does not stock pre-baked items.  We appreciate a lead time of at least one week for custom orders, as our artists need time to plan, practice, and execute some pretty cool stuff in the kitchen.  Call anytime to inquire about availability.  If we can accommodate your order, we will definitely try.  Our cakes are delicious and we want to send one home with you!  

Walk-In Wednesday

Every Wednesday, we bake a glorious variety of items just for you.  Open 10 am - 3 pm, Walk-In Wednesday is a great day to try a little bit of everything.  There are lots of yummy options, like our Big Brownies, Fresh Lemon Cookies and Red Velvet Cupcakes.  Plan to arrive early - we are usually sold out by 3 pm!

Fondant is...

...not going to kill you.  We promise.  Fondant has a soft marshmallow texture and a sweet vanilla flavor.  It kind of tastes like the center of an Oreo cookie.  We make our own in-house and use it to create flowers, sculptures and other edible decorations for our desserts.  Occasionally, clients request fondant as an entire cake covering because it has a smooth, flawless finish.  However, most of our cakes are iced in lovely buttercream with a few fondant accents.  

Dietary Restrictions

We offer several flavors of gluten-free cakes, like Vanilla, Red Velvet and Chocolate.  You can pair these with any of our buttercreams, which are all gluten-free, as well.  We also bake gluten-free versions of some of our cookies.  Although we are not a dedicated gluten-free establishment, we sterilize all of our equipment daily to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination.  We also offer nut-free versions of our cakes for those with nut allergies.  Please let us know of any food allergies, as WE DO NOT WANT YOU TO DIE.  

How fresh are your products?

Fresher than the Prince of Bel Air.  Everything on our menu is baked to order for each customer; we do not stock or freeze our items.  Our entire menu is preservative-free and is meant to be enjoyed right away.  Be sure to store any uneaten cake in an airtight container.


We require cancellation notice of 72 hours in order to provide a full refund.  Cancellations made less than 72 hours prior to your order are available for a partial refund.  Please call the bakery immediately if you need to cancel an order.  We are baking, decorating, and meeting with clients, and we may not catch an email in time.  

Bridal Consultations
